April 2008 Building Capacity: Supporting Children with Brain Injury and Their Families

The purpose of this symposium is to build professional skills and family capacity to effectively support children with brain injuries. Attendees will be introduced to Project LEARN, a program funded through the DDPC to help family members and school staff respond to the challenges of children with brain injury.

This symposium should be attended by special educators; related services providers; school psychologists; school nurses; school administrators; rehabilitation specialists; physicians; nurses, and health care professionals working with children with brain injury and their families; advocates, parents; and representatives of community programs.
